FAQ
Dermal fillers are gel-like substances, most commonly made of Hyaluronic Acid (HA), injected beneath the skin. They are designed to restore lost volume, smooth out deep lines, and soften creases, or enhance facial contours for a more youthful profile.
Depending on the product used and the area treated, results generally last between 6 to 18 months. High-movement areas like the lips may require touch-ups sooner (6–9 months), while structured areas like the cheeks or chin often last over a year.
Most modern fillers contain Lidocaine, a built-in local anesthetic, to ensure maximum comfort. We also apply a topical numbing cream prior to the procedure, making the experience virtually painless with only a slight pinching sensation.
Often called a "lunchtime procedure," there is minimal to no downtime. You may experience slight swelling, redness, or minor bruising at the injection site, but these typically resolve within 2 to 3 days.
One of the greatest benefits of HA fillers is that they are reversible. If needed, a specialized enzyme called Hyaluronidase can safely dissolve the filler, returning your features to their original state.
